Our client is looking for Deputy Director - Specialist Qualifications minimum of ten (10) years relevant post-qualification experience at a senior level, in prosecuting significant criminal litigation as lead or sole counsel at all levels of Court, in courts of unlimited jurisdiction. at least, five (5) years at a senior management level, with substantial experience managing a team of prosecutors and administrators, preferably in a government environment Scope of work The post holder is also responsible for the conduct of criminal proceedings under the direction of the Director of Public Prosecutions. The post holder prosecutes the more complex cases in the Courts, and supervises anti-money laundering and terrorist financing reform. The post holder also conducts Criminal prosecutions and provides advice to the Police, Ministries and other Departments on criminal matters as required. The post holder is also specifically responsible for prosecuting hearings and providing advice in respect of the Proceeds of Crime, Mutual Legal Assistance, Extradition and other related matters. Additionally, the post holder performs associated legal and operational duties as required.
